Save the Children

Help us, help you, help them.

10 out of 10 kids deserve the right to survival, protection, and development and participation.

Save the Children ensures that children have access to health services and economic opportunities. We ensure they are actively engaging in learning, being provided quality education, and positive, safe, and supportive home environments. Our mission is to ensure that communities are strong, connected and safe for children and young people.

As one of the world’s largest children’s charities, Save the Children’s mission is to improve the quality of the lives of children and their families within our community. We work to protect children from harm and help them have access to quality education and health services.

Globally recognised heroes

Save the Children is here to give children a strong and powerful voice. We champion their human, health and education rights, ensure all communities are united, secure and safe for children and young people. By providing education for both the children and the community, Save the Children will empower children and immediately remove them from any toxic, unsafe and unhealthy environments from everything from female health to internet culture. Their only agenda item is all in the title: saving children.

Save the Children has spent the last 100 years fighting to make sure there’s a loud and proud voice for children across the globe. We educate and protect with the intention of setting these processes up for years and generations to come.

Here to build a better world with and for children, Save the Children are committed to discovering ways to improve children’s lives worldwide. We supply equipment and aids to sick and unsafe kids, supporting families caught up in humanitarian emergencies, in turn allowing children to become more resilient to things like climate change and disasters.

Save the Children encourages people to talk and act on these issues because 10 out of 10 kids deserve the right to survival, protection, development, and participation. Our focus areas be narrowed down into three categories to create long term changes for the kids that are stronger than ever:

The successful programs are continually monitored and evaluated to measure their impact and effectiveness. Emergency response

Guided by their vision to protect the rights of children, Save the Children concentrated on the following areas:

by making education and resources the stars of the show, the educated and careful approach to health means that children will no longer die due to preventable illnesses and actually reach double-digit birthdays. Female Health is finally a focus, complemented by the support towards new Mums and ensuring the newborns are receiving proper nutrition and care.

With the end goal being to create greater access to education in safe and positive environments so that all children are given the opportunity to learn in a supported, safe and positive environment.

Preventing exposure to neglect, abuse, exploitation and violence, and educating the community on how they can play their part in protecting the children and making sure they’re safe at all times. The protection extends outside of the home as well, with a conversation started and a plan in place about the mistreatment of children in the Youth Justice System

When disaster strikes, Save the Children strive to ensure that children are given care and emotional support to survive, recover and continue to learn and live a normal life.
